Equip360 Release 2022.1

How it Works

We are very excited to present the new features and enhancements available in our next release.  As a reminder, the Equip360 solution is highly configurable and some features can be turned on or off according to your business needs.  Some features may require a new level of integration.

If you have any questions about any of the features described below, please contact your Account Manager.

Cart Preview

No need to open your cart to know what is inside. When a user on the site hovers over the cart icon they will be presented with a scrollable cart preview that displays all items currently saved in the cart.

The hover display includes the item number, commercial description, and quantity of the item in the cart, along with a thumbnail image of the product.

The user can also navigate to the cart via the preview and can select individual parts in the cart preview to navigate to the product details page.

Recently Viewed

A new feature has been added to the homepage called Recently Viewed.

This feature will capture the products that the user has previously viewed and displays them in a row of images so that they can be returned to easily.

Up to ten products can be displayed in the Recently Viewed section.

Clicking on the product image will direct the user back to the item detail page of the product.  The products are displayed on a per site visit basis only, and will reset each time the user logs out, times out, or changes the site language.

Product Enhancements

  • Category Image Maintenance - The administrator can now view the category image that is already loaded for display and upload a replacement image.

  • More ways to add parts to a shopping list - Previously, parts could only be added to a shopping list when viewing the item detail page of a single part.  Parts can now be added to shopping lists while viewing a higher-level list of parts, and from the cart.

  • Ability to hide quote, order, invoice status - In certain non-integrated implementations, the status of a quote, order, or invoice is always displayed as “Open”, regardless of the status.  There is now a configuration to hide this status in the detail pages and in Purchase Order history to eliminate any misleading information.

  • Downloadable list of products that utilize the same facets - A download icon is now available that allows the administrator to export an excel file that contains the product SKU, description, and value for the facet that is being viewed.  The excel export will contain filtered results as configured by the administrator.

  • Redesigned error messaging - In the case of a 500 internal server exception, a redesigned error screen is presented to the user

  • Obsolete products and the Favorites list - For obsolete products, the functionality to add the product as a favorite has been removed. If a product becomes obsolete after a user has added it to their favorites list at a prior time while it was active, it is automatically removed from the favorites list and a message is provided to the user.

Bug Fix

  • Global Search – Removal of a non-functioning link in the search results for Document-only Equipment

  • Global Search – Partial VIN/UIN Number searches are now correctly reserved for Vehicle searches so that Vehicle information does return before Parts information in Global Search

  • Optimization of Price API calls to better handle large orders
