Release 2022.10
eCommerce
Recently viewed on Item detail page
Quickly jump to last item reviewed from Item detail. While on the item detail page of any product, a logged-in user will now see a banner of products at the bottom of the page that were previously viewed within the current session. The banner displays products in the order in which they were viewed and is limited to the last ten product views. Selecting a recently viewed product will navigate the user to the item detail page of the product. The products will continue to display throughout the duration of the user’s session and will clear once the user either logs out, changes language, or clears their browser’s memory cache.
Add hyperlinks in Landing Page content
An admin user can now include hyperlinks in their landing page content by utilizing a button in the content editor. This addition to the WYSIWYG editor eliminates the need to create or edit any underlying code. Hyperlinks in landing page content can be set to navigate to any external web site or internal URL within Equip.
Differentiate marketing content between Guest and Registered users
Target your content by selecting who can see your marketing. A guest access toggle has been added to the marketing banner creation tool in the Promotions module on the admin site. When a marketing banner is saved with this toggle enabled, the same banner content is visible to guest users as well as logged-in registered users. If the toggle is disabled, the marketing banner is only visible to logged-in registered users.
Improved navigation back to checkout after credit card entry cancelllation
Redirecting users back to Checkout page (and not cart) when Credit card entry is cancelled. If a user cancels or selects the back button in their browser while entering credit card details, they are now taken back to the payment method section of the checkout page. All of the information entered previously in other sections of the checkout page are saved and can be viewed and edited. Errors that were being thrown previously during this action have been removed, and the URL no longer references a payment failure in this case. A user can make any necessary changes to their information on the checkout page before proceeding with and completing their credit card order.
Addition of multi-language support for Paymetric credit card checkout page
The Paymetric credit card checkout screen will display content in the user’s default language setting.
