Release 2023.10
Product Configurator
Build and Buy page load time improvement

When a product configurator setup contains a large number of configured rules, the load time of the Build and Buy page can be adversely affected. Code has been optimized so that the load time for the Build and Buy page has been significantly reduced in these cases for a better user experience.

Warranty
Permitting multiple claim corrections

In the workflow for warranty claims, when a correction in a claim is deemed necessary by a warranty approver, the approver can move the status of a claim to Awaiting Correction.
Afterwards, if the dealer revises and resubmits the claim, the approver can now return the status to Awaiting Correction if further modifications or adjustments are needed before approval. There is no set restriction on the number of times a warranty claim can transition between these statuses. These unlimited transitions also apply to any warranty claim in Pending Return status.

Dealer comments on claims in pending return status

Now, when a warranty claim is in a pending return status, dealers have the capability to add information to the comment section. This information can include tracking details for any parts being returned to fulfill the warranty claim requirements. Dealers can make this update without changing the status of the warranty claim.
Unit History link added to submitted claims

The Unit History link that was previously introduced on the file a claim page has now been added to existing warranty claims so that historical information can be reviewed when an approver is viewing or editing a claim submission. This addition grants warranty approvers access to a comprehensive historical overview of past registrations and claims related to a specific equipment. The same configuration enabled that controls visibility of this link on new claim submissions also determines visibility of the link on submitted claims.
Status badges

Status badges have been introduced within the warranty module to enhance visibility and consistency with other modules in Equip360. These badges serve to draw increased attention to the status indicators. Statuses are also now displayed in alphabetical order in the search pulldown to simplify the process of locating and selecting specific statuses for filtering.
Warranty module UI changes

The Warranty # column has been concealed within the Warranty Home page claim grid. This adjustment is aimed at optimizing the available screen space, reducing or eliminating the necessity for horizontal scrolling to view the entire grid effectively. Additionally, when a claim page is viewed, the Request # is now displayed more prominently at the top of the page as the primary and distinctive identifier number of the individual warranty claim.
Division selection pulldown

In the warranty module, the division selection pulldown has been refined to only include divisions that are applicable to warranty.
Mandatory media attachments for MRR submission

A configuration has been created to determine whether or not a media attachment is required in order to submit an MRR in the warranty module. If this configuration is off, the media attachment remains optional for MRR submission.
Email distribution of warranty documentation

The Equip360 warranty module now offers the capability to distribute MRR, Registration, and Claims email notifications individually to designated accounts or individuals as required.
We are very excited to present the new features and enhancements available in our next release. As a reminder, the Equip360 solution is highly configurable and some features can be turned on or off according to your business needs. Some features may require a new level of integration.
If you have any questions about any of the features described below, please contact your Customer Success person.

eCommerce
Cart loading error page enhancements

The error page that appears when a user faces difficulties loading products into the cart has been improved to offer users multiple suggestions and choices to address the issue. This enhanced page presents a notification explaining that the system has encountered an issue, along with an option to clear the cart or select a link to navigate back to the home page. The purpose of this page is to provide users with a few self-service options that can potentially reduce the need for them to escalate the problem to customer support.

User management excel export improvements

In the User Management module in the admin site, the Excel export of user information has several additions and changes to enhance clarity. The Customer Number column has been renamed to Customer Account on Registration to provide a more descriptive label for this field. A new column, Sold-to, has been added to the file download. This column will display the user's default sold-to account number. In cases where the implementation involves multiple divisions, each sold-to account number is displayed in a separate column. If a user has not been approved, the Sold-to column, just like the Bill-to column, will remain blank to reflect the non-approved status of the user.
Navigation to the correct section for shopping list creation

When a user is selecting a part to add to a shopping list, and does not have any personal shopping lists saved, the user is presented with a link to create a new shopping list. This link now directs the user to the correct section of the My Lists page so that the list can be created.

Several improvements have been to the Bill of Materials page to enhance the user experience. The left-hand navigation panel on the Bill of Materials page now expands and collapses using the same chevron tool, making it more intuitive. For catalog items with multiple images, the image browsing tool has been repositioned for easier navigation. Furthermore, significant modifications have been made to the mobile version of the page to enhance its usability.
