Release 2024.2
Product Registration
Non-default dealer completing the registration
When a user is submitting equipment registration, the default dealer of the user account is now visible beneath the dealer on record for the equipment serial number. The field is editable for internal users and is passed to the ERP upon submission of the registration. When submitted registrations are viewed, both the original dealer of the equipment serial number and the dealer completing the registration are now included in the documentation.
We are very excited to present the new features and enhancements available in our next release. As a reminder, the Equip360 solution is highly configurable and some features can be turned on or off according to your business needs. Some features may require a new level of integration.
If you have any questions about any of the features described below, please contact your Customer Success person.
Warranty
Enhanced serial number search results
The serial number search field utilized to initiate warranty documentation (MRR, Registration, and Claims), has been enhanced to present a more comprehensive and informative listing of machine details when a user is selecting equipment.
When a user enters the first three digits of a serial number, the search suggestions will include the serial number, model number, equipment status, customer number and name, and the registered owner of all equipment in the results.
Equipment ID page bulletin board quick link
The Equipment ID page now includes a direct link to the warranty bulletin board. Clicking on this link seamlessly directs users to a list of bulletins specifically related to the serial number associated with the Equipment ID page they originated from.
RMA
Surplus return period end date editing capability
When the status of a Surplus Return setup is "Active," an administrator now has the capability to edit the end date, allowing the return period to be shortened or extended. Once made, modifications are reflected in the end date column within the Admin interface. Users are permitted to submit surplus return requests through the updated end date.
RMA request rejection process
RMA approvers can now reject an RMA request the first time it is submitted, without first having to request a correction or resubmission from the originating user.
eCommerce
Quick order search improvement
When searching for an order using "Quickly Find an Order," on the Equip360 homepage, entering partial characters and pressing <Enter> automatically selects the first suggestion, navigating the user to the corresponding order information without displaying errors. Alternatively, manually selecting a search suggestion by hovering and clicking maintains the existing navigation functionality.
Additional invoice data added to purchase history download
Columns for subtotal, freight, and taxes have been added to the invoice tab of the purchase history Excel download. These columns are adjacent to the invoice total amount column which is the sum of these three values.
Recently Viewed user interface correction
Users can now click anywhere on the Recently Viewed product tile to navigate to the item detail page of the product. Previously, this functionality only worked if the user clicked on the image itself or on the product description.
