Product Registration
Warranty registration cancellation

Users who have been permitted to approve warranties now can cancel a warranty registration. They can do this by selecting the cancellation option from the registration status dropdown menu. When they choose to cancel, a confirmation message will pop up, along with additional instructions. This cancellation option applies to warranty registrations that are either awaiting approval or have already been approved. However, users cannot cancel registrations that are linked to existing warranty claims.

Once a registration is canceled, it will be marked as inactive. This means that the same serial number can be used to register a warranty again. Canceled registrations won't show up in the unit history section of the module. Only users with warranty approver permission can carry out the cancellation of a warranty registration.

Date validation enhancement

When you're filling out a warranty registration, the dates you provide for the retail purchase and any servicing must be on or after the warranty start date. If you enter dates that break this rule, an error message will pop up immediately, explaining why you can't continue with the warranty registration.

Warranty
Page loading performance improvements

Improvements have been made to the backend processes in the warranty module. Now, when you're registering a warranty or making a claim, the pages will load much faster. Even if there are lots of records, all the information on the registration and claims tabs will be ready within just 3 seconds of opening the page.

Unit history service date visibility

You can customize the service date to fit your business requirements. If you decide to turn off this feature, it won't show up anymore in the unit history section of the warranty module.
Additional information added to unit history

We've improved the unit history part of the warranty module by adding more details about dealers and owners. Also, in the claim section, you'll now see status badges in the status column. These badges quickly show the current status of each claim, matching the visual style of the rest of the warranty module.
We are very excited to present the new features and enhancements available in our next release. As a reminder, the Equip360 solution is highly configurable and some features can be turned on or off according to your business needs. Some features may require a new level of integration.
If you have any questions about any of the features described below, please contact your Customer Success person.

RMA
Enhanced notification for requests without freight charges

When a user submits a new RMA request without any freight charges, a message will now appear below the freight checkbox, informing the user that this option is not applicable. Furthermore, when loading a page for an existing RMA linked to an invoice without freight charges, the message will be immediately visible. This message is customizable and can be adjusted to fit your implementation needs.

Additional submitter information

Now, when you submit an RMA request, we'll ask for both an email and phone number, along with the name of the person who started the request.
