Release 2024.6
Product Registration
Expansion of warranty registration download size

Before, you could only download up to 100 rows of data at a time from warranty registrations in Excel. Now, you can download up to 3000 rows at once. When you start the download, you'll see a message indicating that it's in progress, and the download link will be temporarily disabled to prevent multiple download requests.
Status dropdown blank by default
When you review a submitted warranty registration, the status dropdown will now start off empty when the page loads. This means you’ll need to manually choose either "Cancelled" or "Approved." By making you select an option yourself, we can reduce the chances of mistakes from pre-filled choices.
Email notification adjustments

We've updated our warranty registration email notifications to make things simpler. Now, when you submit a registration, the initial email you get won't have a PDF attached. But don't worry—once your registration is approved, both you and the approver will receive another email, and this one will include the PDF attachment.
Customer bill-to address displayed on registration pages

The default Bill-to address of the customer is now displayed on the warranty registration page instead of the latest Ship to address.
Warranty
Causal part identification on active claims

Dealers can now easily mark the causal part checkbox for both old and new parts when updating previously submitted and reviewed warranty claims. Once they make any needed corrections and resubmit the claim, the approver will get the updated version with the correct causal part marked.
Claim type blank by default

When you fill out a new warranty claim, you'll notice that the Claim Type dropdown is now blank at first. You'll need to choose an option yourself before you can move on. If there's only one Claim Type available, like when submitting a "Dealer Stock" claim, the dropdown will already show that option and you won't be able to change it. This makes the process clearer and more efficient, and it helps prevent mistakes from pre-filled choices.
Expanded serial number search activated by default

If you're a Warranty Approver, the checkbox for expanding your search across all serial numbers is now checked by default when you're creating warranty documentation. This feature is controlled by a permission within the Warranty Approver role and affects serial number searches for MRR, Registration, Claims, and Unit History. If you don't have this permission, you'll need to manually check the box to perform an expanded serial number search.
We are very excited to present the new features and enhancements available in our next release. As a reminder, the Equip360 solution is highly configurable and some features can be turned on or off according to your business needs. Some features may require a new level of integration.

RMA
Ability to search across all invoice dates

We've made some improvements to the invoice search feature used for warranty claims and RMA requests. Now, if you enter an exact Invoice number, Order number, or PO number, the system will find the invoice regardless of the date. This means you can get the information you need quickly without worrying about setting a date range. However, if you're searching by product number, the date still matters. This update makes it easier and faster for you to find the invoices you need without extra steps.
Approver media attachments

Approvers of RMA requests can now easily add media files right above the comments box in the approval section of the RMA form. This new feature works just like attaching files to claims in the warranty module. If you're unsure about the types of files you can upload or their size limits, just hover over the tooltip for guidance.

When you add files to an RMA request, these files will be included in the email notifications sent to the RMA submitter and will appear as downloadable icons on the RMA detail page. You can add files to any RMA request you have permission to edit, regardless of its status. Plus, you can even add files to completed RMA requests, which is handy for including important documents like shipping labels after approval.
Rejected items excluded from pack slip documents

Now, when certain parts in an RMA request are rejected, those parts won't show up on the final pack slip document once the RMA is approved. This means only the parts actually being returned will be listed on the pack slip. The Excel download that lists all the parts in the request stays the way it is, unchanged by this update.
eCommerce
Consistent sequence of parts on orders and invoices

Now, when you check invoices, you'll notice that the products are listed in the same order as they appear on the order Excel files and PDFs. This tweak makes it easier to keep track of what's been purchased through the platform.
